Known for their unwavering commitment to customer care, the team at SSS Australia strive to set a benchmark in gold standard service. That aim naturally extends to their online channel, and with an eye for innovation, they work hard to offer their customers the best online experience possible.

SSS Australia aren’t new to eCommerce. The successful healthcare supply company has offered its customers online ordering since the early 2000s. But since that time, B2B eCommerce has matured and its users have grown more sophisticated. Recently, the team at SSS Australia had come to realise their existing platform wasn’t delivering the sort of agility and flexibility they needed. They found they needed to build customisations on top of their existing platform in order to offer their customers features that were considered ‘non-standard’ for B2B.

They found themselves at a crossroads: either upgrade to a newer version of their current platform, or start evaluating other options. And thus the partnership with Commerce Vision was born.

Our head office is located in Brisbane, Australia. We are a remote-first workforce with team members spread across Australia, New Zealand, and Vietnam. You can work from home, or from one of our hubs located centrally in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Christchurch. 

Embracing a mix of remote and in-person work enables us to gather the best talent from across locations. Hiring Process

What can I expect after applying? 

After submitting an application, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your details. You will then receive another email once there is an update on your application. The timing of this can vary, but we endeavor to respond to your application as soon as possible. Regardless of the outcome, you will hear from us!  

The full hiring process can vary depending on the role. What you could typically expect is:  

1. Teams call The People & Culture Team will reach out to qualified candidates to arrange for a short Teams meeting with you. During this we’ll discuss some questions about your application, experience and career aspirations. We’ll also share more about Commerce Vision and the role. 
2. Assessment

If you’ve applied for a technical role we may also ask you to complete a technical assessment during the early stages of the hiring process. 

3. First Interview

This will be held with your leader, and someone else who you would be working closely with. They’ll go through more technical questions with you, and provide further detail on the day-to-day of the role. You will find out more about the team you’d be joining and the contribution you’ll be making to Commerce Vision and our customers. 

4. Final Interview Some roles may involve a second interview. This will give you an opportunity to meet with additional people from the organisation. You’ll also answer some behavioural questions to assess your alignment with our Commerce Vision culture. Most importantly, this is another opportunity for you to ask any further questions you have.

Will the interview be held remotely or in person? Most of our interviews are held remotely via Microsoft Teams. Depending on your location, we would love to meet with you in person if the opportunity arises.  
How should I present for the interview?

We know this can sometimes be a confusing decision in today’s world. It’s easy to show up overdressed or underdressed. The days of formal business attire are limited. While there’s certainly still occasions for this, many of our interviews aren’t one of them.   

We generally advise you to wear business casual or what you normally would for a day of work.  

On our end, we’re regularly sporting jeans and a t-shirt. Although consider that different levels within the business may call for something more professional.  

If you are unsure, you can ask our friendly team arranging the interview what would be most appropriate.

How should I prepare for my interview and do you have any tips?

Tip 1: Be yourself
